Introduction
BIRGER. has hosted the 3rd edition of its in-house comprehensive technical training programme, PARTENARIAT, from 14th to 25th August 2017 for its technicians from the Indian Ocean Islands. The programme's objective was to provide technical hands-on ATM (Automated Teller Machines) training to its 7 newly recruited technicians from Comoros, Madagascar, Mauritius, Rodrigues and Seychelles islands. 
To support its Indian Ocean regionalisation strategy initiated in 2010, BIRGER. organises regular trainings to up-skill its employees. PARTENARIAT is a comprehensive technical training programme being held for the third time with its 1st edition in December 2012 and the 2nd one in July 2013.
PARTENARIAT was held in August 2017 in Mauritius under the supervision of Rahman Nabheebucus, Head of our Self-Service Terminals Business Unit. The hands-on trainings were delivered by Philip Gebert, our Senior Engineer and Team Leader Support. The 10-day training covered technical practice for the support of the latest generation of NCR ATMs with the enhanced S2 dispenser, intelligent cash and cheque deposit using the latest application software and also, the security features available to prevent ATM fraud and attack.
The 3rd edition of PARTENARIAT is a sustained commitment of BIRGER. towards its customers in the Indian Ocean Islands to further enhance our support services. This commitment is reinforced with the consolidation of our regional support team as well as the transfer of know-how from our Mauritian experts to our teams in the various Indian Ocean Islands.
The training programme was closed with the award of the PARTENARIAT certificate. This certificate is a testimony of competency achieved by our technicians based on BIRGER.'s criteria to entrust them the service and support of our ATMs’ customers in the Indian Ocean Islands.
