BIRGER. Cyber Security Report 2022
BIRGER. is pleased to communicate the results of its Annual Cyber Security Survey.
The survey started in the last quarter of 2022 and was conducted until January 2023. This year, our report has been endorsed by Mr. Andy Chadwick, Head of Africa Cyber Network, UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office, based in Kenya who quotes: “BIRGER. 6th Cyber Security Survey results provide valuable insights into the current state of Cyber Security in the region, as well as key challenges that organisations face.”
Our report also incorporates three subject matter experts’ insights covering the state of Cyber Security in Seychelles, new cyber and intelligence solutions from Mastercard and future risks related to crypto currencies.
The results show clearly that there are disparities between organisations and countries, and one solution will not meet all needs. However, BIRGER. recommends a holistic approach, which will involve all aspects of organisations to improve their Cyber Security posture. As threats evolve and the geopolitical context becomes more uncertain, organisations must continuously and proactively harden their defences. This includes validating their security controls and processes to effectively defend against the latest risks.
