MUA Medical Insurance Plan
Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to inform you that MUA has released a new schedule of benefits for the Medical Insurance Covers for the year starting 1 October 2025.
Kindly note that:

There has been no increase in the monthly premiums.

The In-Patient cover is mandatory

The Out-Patient cover is optional and complementary to each In Patient Limit as per the following:

The Rs 10,000 / Rs 15,000 / Rs 20,000 Out Patient cover can be opted if you have the In Patient cover of Rs 25,000 and Rs 50,000.

The Rs 25,000 / Rs 35,000 / Rs40,000 can be opted if you have the In Patient cover of Rs 50,000 and Rs 75,000.

The Rs 50,000 / Rs 60,000 can be opted if you have the In Patient cover of Rs 75,000

The Catastrophe cover is optional and the premium applicable is as per the excess aligning to the In-Patient limit.
For example, if you opt for a Catastrophe cover of Rs 1,000,000 and your In Patient Limit is Rs 50,000, the excess for the Catastrophe Cover is Rs 50,000 an the corresponding premium is Rs 877 per member.
For new subscriptions, please fill the “Health Proposal Form” and for changes/cancellation to your existing subscriptions, please fill the attached “Amendment Form”. The signed forms should be sent to Denis Gallet (E: denis.g@birger.technology) by Monday 15 September 2025.
