Security Analyst/s Level 1

We are recruiting Security Analyst/s Level 1 (L1). The ideal candidates will have a real interest in working in the Cyber Security field. Candidates will have the opportunity to move into a more senior role such as Senior Security Analyst, Security Engineering positions or Technical Business Development position. 

Job Description:
  • To monitor security events and escalate accordingly.
  • Implement and manage security tools.
  • Troubleshoot and respond to requests in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Monitoring and remediation of Cyber Security incidents.
  • Research and investigate issues with a critical mindset to determine the actual problem.
  • Prepare regular Cyber Security reports.
Job Requirements:
  • Reports to the Cyber Defense Centre Leader.
  • Monitoring Real time security events for client environments.
  • Research and Determine the actual problem.
  • Escalate the issue to correct contacts (including opening tickets).
  • Implement and manage Cyber Security solutions.
  • Proactively research and monitor security information to identify potential threats that may impact the organisation.
  • Attend to client requests by email or telephone.
  • Create and Deliver Reports.
  • Able to work on shift schedule, 24x7x365 coverage, including holidays and weekends.
  • Available to travel overseas for implementation of projects.
Recommended Knowledge and Experience:
  • Knowledge of Network Infrastructures.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP.
  • Knowledge of different operating systems (such as Windows,  Unix and Linux).
  • Customer centric.
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written (English and French) communication skills.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Taking Ownership and Responsibility.
Education and qualification:
  • Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information and Communication Technology or any related field.
  • Professional Certification Comptia Network+, Comptia Security+,CEH / Incident Handling certifications or equivalent will be an advantage.
