COVID-19: What to do if you are sick?
Following the announcement by the Government of Mauritius on Wednesday 18th March 2020 of the first cases of Coronavirus in Mauritius and on Saturday 21st March 2020 the first death from this virus, BIRGER. encourages its employees to take all preventive measures as recommended by the Government of Mauritius and the worldwide organisations such as WHO and UNICEF and CDC.

If you feel sick: stay and isolate yourself at home, avoid going to hospital and watch for the following symptoms:
If you have the above mentioned symptoms or have been exposed to COVID-19, please call the hotline number 8924 or SAMU on 114.
As communicated previously, we encourage you to take all precautionary measures, as recommended by relevant authorities. Stay informed on the latest developments on this virus from reliable sources such as Radios, TVs, WHO, UNICEF where you can find further protective measures.
