BIRGER. at FIDEF Conference, Madagascar
Introduction
The 16th Francophone Summit, designated by the members of “Organisation Internationale de La Francophonie (OIF)”, was held in Madagascar in November 2016. This high profile Summit brings together the French speaking countries of the world. On 25th and 26th October 2016, La Fédération Internationale des Experts Comptables Francophones (FIDEF), organised its 16th Conference under the aegis of OIF and graced by the President of Madagascar. The Summit, which included international speakers, was opened by the President of Madagascar, his Excellency Hery Rajaonarimampianina, who is himself a qualified Chartered Accountant.
Created in 1981, FIDEF gathers 36 French-speaking countries over 4 continents, representing approximately 100,000 professional accountants.
BIRGER. was invited by “La Fédération Internationale des Experts Comptables Francophones (FIDEF)”, to speak on cybersecurity during its 16th Conference, part of the Francophone Summit in Madagascar.
BIRGER. provided insights on cybersecurity topics covering the global context, key risks and solutions that help to defend against the increasingly sophisticated cyber-attacks.
