Gordon Love

Vice President for Emerging Markets, EMEA

Gordon Love is the Vice President for Emerging Markets, including Middle East, Africa, Russia and South Eastern Europe for Symantec. In this role, he is responsible for overall sales and strategic market management across the territory, while driving new business growth in the commercial and enterprise segments. Love’s main focus is to enhance Symantec’s relationship with key customers with a mission to protect them against today’s sophisticated cyber security attacks and tomorrow’s threats.

Prior to this role, Gordon served as the Regional Director for Symantec in Middle East and Africa where he significantly grew the business and drove incremental revenue with customers in the oil & energy, financial, public sector, healthcare and small business markets. In this role, Gordon was responsible for more than 33 high growth countries.

Before joining Symantec in mid-June 2009, Gordon worked with the company for five years through a channel reseller partnership. Gordon has 21-years experience in various sales, strategy, operations and business development roles for both startups and established corporate companies, including The Johannesburg Stock Exchange, Standard Bank, First National Bank, IBM and Faritec.

Gordon completed his MBA Degree (Cum Laude) and an Executive Development Programme focused on Competitive Strategies for Emerging Market Economies from the University of Pretoria, which he completed with distinction. Gordon also completed a Management Advancement Programme at the University of Witwatersrand with distinction.

Outside of work, Gordon enjoys spending time with his family, cycling and cheering on his beloved Liverpool football team.
