Blessed Christmas, and a Healthy, Prosperous New Year 2022

Dear Colleagues and Friends,
 
With 2021 drawing to a close, I want to take the opportunity to look back at the hard work carried out over this past unprecedented year.

Covid-19 pandemic has certainly been extraordinary to our lives since 2020. We have invented new ways of living, new ways of working and learned how to manage side by side both our personal and professional lives like never before.

Although we are seeing great strides in the global deployment of Covid-19 vaccinations, with recent evolution of the virus, we have decided to cancel this year’s End-of-Year party. Many countries that we operate in, still have strict sanitary measures, and the health and well-being of our colleagues remain our top priority.

The economic uncertainty of the Covid-19 pandemic has reminded us of the importance for BIRGER. to be a resilient company. We have adapted ourselves to the constraints of lockdowns to meet customer expectations in an accelerated industry delivering services in a complex environment. To ensure BIRGER.’s sustained development, we must be responsive by creating new business models, targeting new customer needs with future-proof strategies for 2022 and beyond.

Our employees dedication, hard work and loyalty deserves a great thank you.

I would like to thank a number of employees who have had long careers with us and have decided to retire during 2021, namely Marie Claire DESVAUX DE MARIGNY, Rahman NABHEEBUCUS, Prosper RAZAFINARIVO and Jean-Jacques FELIX. May I wish them a well deserved and peaceful retirement.

Let’s finish this year on a positive note. We’ve achieved incredible heights under circumstances we have never seen before, and I thank you for being at the helm of that success.
